Two of the world's most prominent scientists in the field of AIDS research marked the 25th anniversary of the discovery of the HIV virus.  In past decades, Dr. Robert Gallo and Dr. Luc Montagnier, the Nobel recipient for medicine in 2008,  were often competitive in their race to find the cause of the deadly AIDS virus.  VOA's Melinda Smith has the story of what led these two rivals to share the spotlight in Washington DC today.
